Leaves are essential for employees to take time off for personal reasons, illness, or vacation. Efficient leave management ensures smooth operations by tracking, approving, and organizing employee absences while maintaining productivity and staffing levels. It plays a crucial role in fostering a healthy work environment and supporting employee well-being.


How to create a Leave Request?

To initiate a leave request, it's essential to establish leave types and entitlements within the HRM system:

  • Leave Types


    • Leave entitlements to determine the leave allocation for individual users and can be managed in the Settings section of the HRM module.

    • Create Leave Entitlements by tapping on the +Create button and filling out the Leave Entitlement creation form:

    • Select the user(s) or specify whether the entitlement applies to all users.

    • Choose the type of leave (e.g., Annual Leave, Sick Leave).
    • Define the period and allocate the number of days for each Leave Entitlement.

  • To create a Leave Request


  • Navigate to the Leave section in the HRM module.

  • Click on the +Create button to request leave and complete the leave request form.

  • User

    • Select the user requesting leave.

  • Leave Type

    • Choose the appropriate leave type from the configured options.

  • Start Date and End Date

    • Specify the duration of the leave.

  • Duration

    • Automatically calculated based on the start and end dates.

  • Reason

    • Provide a brief explanation for the leave request.

  • Attachment

    • Optionally, attach any relevant documents or notes.

After submitting the leave request, it will be recorded and can be viewed in the leave listing page for tracking and management purposes. This streamlined process ensures efficient handling of leave requests within the organization.
